Abstract: It is shown that Greenland has highly distorted socialist economy, as result of two sets of economic mechanisms: Dutch Disease caused by large annual grant from Denmark, and system of public firms and relegation of market mechanism to very small role by regulation. Essay explains how main mechanisms function, and how system can be reformed.
