Abstract: Project on sealworms studies population sizes of seals, diet, nematode infections and fish species. Grey seals are in two areas, north-westerly and south-east. Number was 10 000-12 000 in 1982-1990, but may be declining. Seal feeding habits show regional and seasonal differences. Worms are most abundant in first area, where they eat highly infected sea- scorpions. Seals are final host for worm in Icelandic waters.
