Record #135890:

Stacked fluviodeltaic cycles in the Upper Proterozoic Godkeila Member, Varanger Peninsula, northern Norway / Signe-Line Røe.

Title: Stacked fluviodeltaic cycles in the Upper Proterozoic Godkeila Member, Varanger Peninsula, northern Norway / Signe-Line Røe.
Author(s): Røe, Signe-Line.
Date: 1995.
In: Norsk Geologisk Tidsskrift. (1995.), Vol. 75(4) (1995)
Abstract: Member comprises four stacked fluviodeltaic cycles 70-200 m thick. Four facies associations have been distinguished. Each cycle is shoaling- upward succession of associations. Facies associations suggest fluvial- dominated delta with low-gradient braided rivers entering low-energy, tide- influenced basin. Details are further interpreted.
