Abstract: NINA (Norsk Institutt for Naturforskning) examined loss of reindeer in North Trøndelag in 1995. Predators, half of them lynx, account for over 60% of loss. Weak deer are not more vulnerable. Article discusses future in light of Storting Resolution 27 and Bern and Washington Conventions.
