Introduction presents categories of source, first chapter presents texts and authors, chapter 2 discusses primarily Norwegian mission texts from 1710s and 1730s. Chapter 3 deals with geographical provenence of sources. Chapter 4 suggests how Saami terms could be written in modern orthographies. Final 115 pages consist of two synopses, enabling reader to compare contents of most debated sources.
