Record #135687:

Major element geochemistry of Upper Proterozoic greywackes from Norway and a coastal area of the Kola Peninsula in Northern Russia / Anna Siedlecka.

Title: Major element geochemistry of Upper Proterozoic greywackes from Norway and a coastal area of the Kola Peninsula in Northern Russia / Anna Siedlecka.
Author(s): Siedlecka, Anna.
Date: 1995.
Publisher: Trondheim, Norway: Geological Survey of Norway
In: Geology of the Eastern Finnmark - Western Kola Peninsula Region. (1995.),
Abstract: Major element geochemistry from six separate turbidite systems in Norway and Russia cannot be used alone in discriminating tectonic setting, as it reflects petrology rather than palaeotectonics. Kongsfjord and Rybachi turbidites are interpreted as having developed along different segments of same faulted margin, precursor of Trollfjorden-Komagelva Fault Zone.
