| Abstract: | Sub-volcanic dacites of centre form échelon of lenticular bodies with disconformable contacts to host. Petrochemical features are similar to those of other andesitic volcanic centres of Southern Pechenga Zone. REE spectra are also similar. Rb-Sr isochron from dacites has yielded age of 1720 Ma., whilst Porojarvi andesites are 1880 Ma. We may be dealing with rejuvenation of Poritash rocks during intrusion period. |
