Record #135521:

The predictability of the spatial distribution of Guillemots (Uria spp.) in the Barents Sea / Per Fauchald, Kjell Einar Erikstad.

Title: The predictability of the spatial distribution of Guillemots (Uria spp.) in the Barents Sea / Per Fauchald, Kjell Einar Erikstad.
Author(s): Fauchald, Per.
Erikstad, Kjell Einar.
Date: 1995.
In: Norsk Polarinstitutt. Meddelelser. (1995.), Vol. 135 (1995)
Abstract: Seabirds generally have patchy distribution, so vulnerability to oil spills is patchy. Study examines predictability of wintering guillemots from 9-year period. Spearman rank correlation was used. Even for large scales only low predictabilities were found, probability because of variation in Capelin distribution.
