| Abstract: | Article appeared in Atmosphere-Ocean 29(3) 1991. Effects of marine fronts on local atmospheric surface layer and air-sea interaction were studied. Several mesoscale fronts were crossed by research vessel in Greenland Sea. Air temperature, humidity and stability conditions and fluxes of momentum, sensible and latent heat were investigated. For relatively calm conditions close coupling was observed in temperature. |
