Abstract: Largest island in world is used mainly for package tourism, trekking and dog-sledging, climbing, scientific visits and aerial 1-day trips. 5 to 6000 vistors annually go mainly to Ilulissat, South Greenland, Kulusuk and Nuuk. Goal is to reach c. 35,000 p.a. by 2005, which would employ 2500 plus suppliers.
