Abstract: Authors identify origin and age of 40 driftwood samples by dendrochronological and wood-anatomical methods providing information on ocean current directions and origin of sea ice carrying driftwood. Also determine which driftwood is of natural origin and which anthropogenic. Findings aer instructive for archaeological studies in area.
