Record #133991:

Recent cooling along the southern shore of Hudson Strait, Quebec, Canada, documented from permafrost temperature measurements / Michel Allard, Baolai Wang, Jean-A. Pilon.

Title: Recent cooling along the southern shore of Hudson Strait, Quebec, Canada, documented from permafrost temperature measurements / Michel Allard, Baolai Wang, Jean-A. Pilon.
Author(s): Allard, Michel.
Wang, Baolai.
Pilon, Jean-A.
Date: 1995.
In: Arctic and Alpine Research. (1995.), Vol. 27(2) (1995)
Abstract: Reports measurement and analysis of permafrost temperatures from surface down to ca 20 m from 10 boreholes, 1988-93. Results show regular cooling of permafrost in this area at 0.05°C yr at 20m depth. Cooling trend is consistent with long-term regional cooling observed in air temperatures.
