Title: Isolated occurrences of spruce, Picea abies, in northernmost Fennoscandia in relation to the enigma of continental mountain birch forests / L. Oksanen.
Author(s): Oksanen, L.

In: Acta Botanica Fennica. (1995.), Vol. 153 (1995)
Abstract: Formulates three alternate hypotheses for geobotanical anomaly presented by dominance of birch in continental as well as marine areas in northern Fennoscandia, as against elsewhere in Arctic where continental areas are dominated by spruce.
