| Abstract: | Describes preliminary study of feasibility of using AVHRR data to detect PSCs over part of Antarctica. Discusses characteristics of Cryogenic Limb Array Etalon Spectrometer (CLAES) and four case studies of joint analysis of individual AVHRR images with CLAES and other ancillary data that help to illustrate PSC categories. |
