| Abstract: | Capelin fishery has been very important commercially in Barents Sea until recently. Stock showed large fluctuations before collapse in 1984-1986. Institute of Marine Research has carried out zooplankton research in Sea since 1979 to compare plankton biomass and species composition with growth of capelin and herring. Article gives some results and relationship to Atlantic inflow. |
