| Abstract: | Presents preliminary results for 1991-92 fieldwork on climatological program in Vestfjella, Heimefrontfjella and Amundsenisen plateau area in western Dronning Maud Land, and on Filchner Ice Shelf. Includes ice movement; mass balance studies using radio-echo sounding and shallow firn cores; landscape/climate evolution; and blue ice studies. Reports raw field data for snow accumulation and ice velocity measurements. |
