| Abstract: | Presents main issues of radioecology and radiochemistry of region connected with global and regional presence of artificial radionuclides and with radiation pollution from nuclear power. Analyses of approx. 1000 samples were carried out from bottom deposits, soil, lichens, mosses, algae, benthos, fish, birds and plankton. Also summarises published data on radionuclides in biota of western Arctic. Identifies main sources of artificial radionuclides in Arctic. |
