| Abstract: | Talk gives quantities of organochlorines and heavy metals (zinc, copper, lead, cadmium and mercury) in sediment, sea and living things. Comparisons are made with conditions on both sides of Atlantic. Quantities in different sea areas around Iceland are graphed. Final section considers eutrophication and its commonest human causes. Measurements at Faxafló show good dispersal near densest human settlement on Iceland. |
