Abstract: | Author describes feelings of girl student on move from home to college, aggravated by fact that parents have no such experience. Future can be seen in three forms: as liquidation of old ways, as stagnation because of too little development (dramatic or slow death) or as (Utopian?) mastery which successfully bridges abyss between tradition and modernization. Examples given include scientific fish culture and regional hospital in Tromsø. |
