Abstract: Thesis based on two sites, four regions in Norrbotten and five case studies on various ground exploitations leads to elucidation of two major processes that determine representativity. One is archaeological survey, other destruction processes. Site survey suggests that exotic materials found had arrived in sedentary situation, not by population movement.
