| Abstract: | Prior to oil exploration, biological investigations were carried out from 1982-1986 by spilling oil to five most dominant plant communities, with concentration of 10 l/m². Species composition, frequency and cover of vascular plants, mosses and lichens were recorded before, a year later and six times from 1984-1993. Results were extremely different, with woody plants recovering very slowly and worst combination being diesel on dry habitats. |
