Record #131837:

Atmospheric ice accretion on a high TV- and radio mast in northern Sweden / Claes Fahleson.

Title: Atmospheric ice accretion on a high TV- and radio mast in northern Sweden / Claes Fahleson.
Author(s): Fahleson, Claes.
Date: 1994.
Publisher: Luleå: Danish Polar Center
In: PolarTech '94. International Conference on Development and Commercial Utilization of Technologies in Polar Regions, March 22-25 1994. Luleå, Sweden. Proceedings. (1994.),
Abstract: High guyed masts may be subjected to large loads caused by icing, especially those at high altitudes in cold regions. Ice can grow quickly. Research project was started in 1988. Paper describes system for measuring ice and wind load on mast and gives five years' results.
