| Abstract: | Arqe was acquitted of manslaughter in County Court and sentenced to period in institution. On appeal he was convicted of assault and manslaughter and sentenced to psychiatric custody in Denmark. Then witness claimed that it had not been Arqe. Accused was later compensated for unjustified incarceration. Final article is by former County Court judge, who sees Greenlanders resembling "louse pinched between nails" of Danish jurists who know nothing of background or culture - nor would Strasbourg be better. |
