Abstract: Many Arctic expeditions sought Collembola in islands over last 150 years; 58 recognised species are known. Here are included 30 additional species from Novaya Zemlya and Franz Josef Land. Paper is pilot study for monograph on Collembola in all Nordic countries, where descriptions will be fuller.
