| Abstract: | Demography and abundance of Collembola in relation to gradient of increasingly isolated tussocks of Carex ursina were investigated near Ny- Ålesund, Svalbard. Five of ten species were chosen for study, preferring Carex tussocks as habitat. Different species were affected differently by gradient in tussock distribution. |
