Abstract: Survey of occurrence of C. ulrichii in Norwegian moose was conducted on heads of 23 calves from six separate areas. Moose were shot at time when parasite is in first instar and only 1-3 mm long. Larvae (six) were found in only one head, which came from Pasvik in NE Norway. Finds in Sweden have been of third instars and so easier to spot.
