| Abstract: | Abstract. Aim is to contribute to understanding of relationships between surge crevasse patterns, ice-surface roughness and ice velocity. Observations made during field work in June 1993 and July 1994; results from study will provide basis for automated mapping of entire glacier using synthetic aperture radar imagery from ERS-1 satellite. |
