Studies of debris cones in Lappland and Spitsbergen / Anders Rapp.
Title: | Studies of debris cones in Lappland and Spitsbergen / Anders Rapp. |
Author(s): | Rapp, Anders. |
Date: | 1994. |
Publisher: | Chichester: John Wiley & Sons |

Abstract: | Study of talus slopes. Concludes that talus accumulation in cold environments is generally slow once area has been deglaciated. Suggests that screes in Swedish Lapland and Spitsbergen are largely relict forms which are partially reworked by periodic slush avalanches, snow avalanches, talus slides and debris flows. |
