Record #130511:

The sunken nuclear submarine in the Norwegian Sea - a potential environmental problem? / Johan Blindheim, and five others.

Title: The sunken nuclear submarine in the Norwegian Sea - a potential environmental problem? / Johan Blindheim, and five others.
Author(s): Blindheim, Johan.
Date: 1994.
In: Fisken og Havet. (1994.), Vol. 7 (1994)
Abstract: Study covers: Whether or not to try to move vessel, physical characteristics of area, model simulation of long-term transport of water- soluble substances, and vertical transport from hot spot. Conclusion is that damage would be negligible if left, and resources should not be wasted on clearance - local threat is radio-active waste on Kola Peninisula.
