Record #130292:

Global ice loads on Arctic structures interpreted from foundation displacements / K.J. Hewitt, K.P. Kennedy, P.J. Fitzpatrick.

Title: Global ice loads on Arctic structures interpreted from foundation displacements / K.J. Hewitt, K.P. Kennedy, P.J. Fitzpatrick.
Author(s): Hewitt, K. J.
Kennedy, K. P.
Fitzpatrick, P. J.
Date: 1994.
Publisher: Montreal: Canadian Society for Civil Engineering
In: Cold Regions Engineering : Proceeding of 7th International Cold Regions Engineering Specialty Conference : theme "Global Perspective" : March 7-9, 1994, Edmonton, Alberta. (1994.),
Abstract: Presents eight case histories in which foundation responses of Arctic offshore structures have been monitored and analyzed. In all cases, only small (if any) displacements have been recorded, suggesting that present design ice loads are still conservative. Data is compared and discussed with respect to other measurements and observations.
