Fundamental study on AE characteristics of fresh-water ice / Takeshi Uchida, Sho Kusumoto, Tooru Takase.

Title: Fundamental study on AE characteristics of fresh-water ice / Takeshi Uchida, Sho Kusumoto, Tooru Takase.
Author(s): Uchida, Takeshi.
Kusumoto, Sho.
Takase, Tooru.
Date: 1994.
Language: Japanese.
In: Seppyo : Journal of the Japanese Society of Snow and Ice. (1994.), Vol. 56(3) (1994)
Abstract: Study of acoustic emission of two types of columnar-grained fresh-water ice, plain and sharply edge-notched, subjected to bending load at --5°C. Two levels were set for average signal: 25 and 125 mV and signals which exceeded these levels were counted.
Notes:

Seppyo : Journal of the Japanese Society of Snow and Ice. Vol. 56(3) :207-214 (1994).

English abstract, p.214.

Keywords: 551.32 -- Glaciology.
