Temperature and accumulation at the Greenland Summit; comparison of high-resolution isotope profiles and passive microwave brightness temperature trends / C.A. Shuman, Richard B. Alley, S. Anandakrishnan, J.W.C. White, Pieter M. Grootes, C.R. Stearns.
Title: | Temperature and accumulation at the Greenland Summit; comparison of high-resolution isotope profiles and passive microwave brightness temperature trends / C.A. Shuman, Richard B. Alley, S. Anandakrishnan, J.W.C. White, Pieter M. Grootes, C.R. Stearns. |
Author(s): | Shuman, C. A. Alley, Richard B. Anandakrishnan, S. White, J. W. C. Grootes, Pieter M. Stearns, C. R. |
Date: | 1994. |
In: | Eos : transactions, American Geophysical Union. (1994.), Vol. 75(44, supplement) (1994) |
Abstract: | Abstract. Results of measurements and modelling in Summit station area indicate that stable isotope varations from near-surface snow are reliable high-resolution temperature proxy; this gives confidence to palaeoclimatic interpretation of isotope signal variations in Greenland Ice Sheet Project 2 (GISP2) core. |
Notes: | Eos : transactions, American Geophysical Union. Vol. 75(44, supplement) :213 (1994). |
