Record #130242:

A retracking algorithm for satellite radar altimetry over an ice sheet / D. Yi, Charles R. Bentley.

Title: A retracking algorithm for satellite radar altimetry over an ice sheet / D. Yi, Charles R. Bentley.
Author(s): Yi, D.
Bentley, Charles R.
Date: 1994.
In: Eos : transactions, American Geophysical Union. (1994.), Vol. 75(44, supplement) (1994)
Abstract: Abstract. Presents algorithm which takes into account penetration of radar pulse into upper few meters of firn; in doing this, surface topography, satellite pointing angle, and curvature must be considered. Has been applied to Geosat over east Antarctica.
