Record #130211:

Recent changes in the melt-rate patterns of South Cascade Glacier, Washington / Wendell V. Tangborn.

Title: Recent changes in the melt-rate patterns of South Cascade Glacier, Washington / Wendell V. Tangborn.
Author(s): Tangborn, Wendell V.
Date: 1994.
In: Eos : transactions, American Geophysical Union. (1994.), Vol. 75(44, supplement) (1994)
Abstract: Abstract. Daily snow and ice melt rates for May--September 1957-93 are derived from basin's stream discharge, area of snow and ice cover, englacial water storage and precipitation as rain. Full record of 5661 days is analyzed for climate sensitivity by differentiating each day's melt according to weather type, using energy-balance model based on temperature, precipitation and cloud cover.
