Record #129967:

Application of SAR interferometry with ERS-1 in the Antarctic / P. Hartl, K.-H. Thiel, X. Wu, C.S.M. Doake, J. Sievers.

Title: Application of SAR interferometry with ERS-1 in the Antarctic / P. Hartl, K.-H. Thiel, X. Wu, C.S.M. Doake, J. Sievers.
Author(s): Hartl, P.
Thiel, K. -H.
Wu, X.
Doake, C. S. M.
Sievers, J.
Date: 1994.
In: Earth Observation Quarterly. (1994.), Vol. 43 (1994)
Abstract: Synthetic aperture radar can be used for producing three-dimensional relief maps, detecting and monitoring small (cm level) changes of surface shape caused by ice movement, measuring surface velocities and tidal displacements, locating positions of ice-sheet grounding lines, and monitoring surface geophysical parameters. Demonstrates some capabilities of method over Antarctic regions.
