Abstract: Problem was formulated using dimensionless variables defined as ratios of various heat fluxes which determine icicle's growth. Evolution of dimensionless icicle shape is expressed as function of variation of convective heat transfer with icicle radius. Time needed for icicle to reach its maximum length and variation of mass and drip rate are expressed in dimensionless form.
