Record #129711:

Proglacial aquatic outwash fan and delta sediments in push moraines -- indicators of subglacial meltwater activity / F.M. van der Wateren.

Title: Proglacial aquatic outwash fan and delta sediments in push moraines -- indicators of subglacial meltwater activity / F.M. van der Wateren.
Author(s): Wateren, F. M. van der.
Date: 1994.
Abstract: Describes glaciofluvial sediments from area of push moraines in Dammer and Fürstenauer Berge, Germany, in investigation of role of meltwater streams at ice margin during Drenthe advance. Standard methods of sedimentary section logging were combined with tectonic analyses of pushed sediment masses to reconstruct patterns of sedimentation in relation to pushing sequence.
