Date: 1994.
In: Arctic and Alpine Research. (1994.), Vol. 26(3) (1994)
Abstract: Fuji Fuketsu (Fuji wind cave) is lava tube cave, located at foot of Mount Fuji. Study, which took place from 1984 to 1986, focused on investigation of basic characteristics and cause for existence of ice where ground-level climate is so warm (annual mean air temperature 8.4°C). Concludes that it is due to combination of climatological and structural conditions of cave.
