Record #129254:

Ecological modelling of the planktonic microbial food web / Christiane Lancelot.

Title: Ecological modelling of the planktonic microbial food web / Christiane Lancelot.
Author(s): Lancelot, Christiane.
Date: 1994.
Publisher: Brussels: Belgian Science Policy Office
In: Belgian scientific research programme on the Antarctic. Phase III. Synopsis. (1994.),
Abstract: Describes objectives and tasks of project to develop predictive mathematical model of microbial ecosystem in Antarctic Southern Ocean. Studies will include: netplanktonic diatoms, nanoplanktonic algae, and phytoplankton communities; assimilation of inorganic nitrogen, nitrates and ammonia; ingestion by protozoans of algae and bacteria; and role of microheterotrophs, bacteria and protozoans in regeneration of nitrogen and ammonia.
Notes:
