Record #128868:

The production of North Atlantic Deep Water: sources, rates and pathways / Robert R. Dickson, Juan Brown.

Title: The production of North Atlantic Deep Water: sources, rates and pathways / Robert R. Dickson, Juan Brown.
Author(s): Dickson, Robert R.
Brown, Juan.
Date: 1994.
In: Journal of Geophysical Research. (1994.), Vol. 99(C6) (1994)
Abstract: Paper updates earlier account of Dickson et al and reviews development phase of NADW from points where dense inflows from Nordic seas cross Greenland- Scotland Ridge to point off South Greenland. Three long-term current arrays south from Denmark Strait sill are used to validate earlier short-term arrays and with these to describe downstream evolution of mean speed, depth and entrainment, variability of overflow current in space and time and likely contribution of other three main constituents at densities greater than σθ = 27.8.
Notes:
