Record #128736:

Obliquity--oblateness feedback: are climatically sensitive values of obliquity dynamically unstable? / Bruce G. Bills.

Title: Obliquity--oblateness feedback: are climatically sensitive values of obliquity dynamically unstable? / Bruce G. Bills.
Author(s): Bills, Bruce G.
Date: 1994.
In: Geophysical Research Letters. (1994.), Vol. 32(3) (1994)
Abstract: Changes in shape of Earth may have affected length and timing of past ice ages; these changes, which were themselves due to build up of ice at poles, would have altered Earth's motion. New model is presented for this feedback, operative on time scales of 10⁴ to 10⁷ years.
Notes:

Geophysical Research Letters. Vol. 32(3) :177-180 (1994).

Keywords: 551.336 -- Ice ages.
551.338 -- Ice ages, theories of causation.
E7 -- Glaciology: glacial geology and ice ages.
