Record #128394:

Barrier winds recorded during two summer Antarctic campaigns and their interaction with the katabatic flows as observed by a tri-axial Doppler sodar / S. Argentini, G. Mastrantonio.

Title: Barrier winds recorded during two summer Antarctic campaigns and their interaction with the katabatic flows as observed by a tri-axial Doppler sodar / S. Argentini, G. Mastrantonio.
Author(s): Argentini, S.
Mastrantonio, G.
Date: 1994.
In: International Journal of Remote Sensing. (1994.), Vol. 15(2) (1994)
Abstract: Reports observational study carried out during summertime in Terra Nova Bay area using monostatic Doppler sodar and automatic weather station (AWS) data. Objective is to provide set of observed high resolution barrier wind profiles for use by modellers as examples of onset and evolution of phenomenon.
