Record #128361:

Transport out of the lower stratospheric Arctic vortex by Rossby wave breaking / D.W. Waugh, and 10 others.

Title: Transport out of the lower stratospheric Arctic vortex by Rossby wave breaking / D.W. Waugh, and 10 others.
Author(s): Waugh, D. W.
Date: 1994.
In: Journal of Geophysical Research. (1994.), Vol. 99(D1) (1994)
Abstract: Examines tracer transport of lower stratospheric Arctic vortex using contour advection with surgery (CAS) trajectory technique. Brief description of CAS is given along with details of procedure used to analyze tracer transport during two Arctic Airborne Stratospheric Expeditions (January and February 1989; December 1991 to March 1992). Paper concentrates on transport of air out of vortex.
Notes:

Journal of Geophysical Research. Vol. 99(D1) :1071-1088 (1994).
