Record #127801:

Ostracoda from Sites 910 and 911 / Thomas M. Cronin, Robin C. Whatley.

Title: Ostracoda from Sites 910 and 911 / Thomas M. Cronin, Robin C. Whatley.
Author(s): Cronin, Thomas M.
Whatley, Robin C.
Date: 1993.
In: Ocean Drilling Program. Proceedings. Scientific Results. (1993.), Vol. 151(11) (1993)
Abstract: Ostracoda were studied to provide biostratigraphic and palaeoceanographic data on Pliocene and Quaternary sediments from Yermak Plateau, Arctic Ocean. Preliminary results indicate plateau was inhabited by relatively thermophilic taxa during Pliocene changing to more cryophilic taxa. Assemblages provide evidence that warm Atlantic water entered region during Pliocene, followed by cooling.
