Forecasting the impact of climatic change on natural vegetation with particular reference to the boreal and sub-Arctic floras / George A.F. Hendry.

Title: Forecasting the impact of climatic change on natural vegetation with particular reference to the boreal and sub-Arctic floras / George A.F. Hendry.
Author(s): Hendry, George A. F.
Date: 1993.
Publisher: Trondheim: Norwegian Institute for Nature Research
In: Impacts of climate change on natural ecosystems with emphasis on boreal and Arctic/Alpine areas. (1993.), Vol. 4
Abstract: Higher latitudes have fewer species. Under prolonged climate warming, species will migrate or retreat northwards, limited by different photoperiods, transport of propagules, germination conditions and loss of familiar mycorrhiza.
