Leir í íslenskum jardvegi / Ólafur Arnalds.

Title: Leir í íslenskum jardvegi / Ólafur Arnalds.
Translated title: Clay in Icelandic soil.
Author(s): Arnalds, Ólafur.

In: Náttúrufraedingurinn. (1993.), Vol. 63(1-2) (1993)
Abstract: Paper describes in general formation of clay minerals in soils. It discusses minerals common in volcanic soils. Traditional methods of measuring particle size show limited clay content even if clays are important constituent, so other methods are needed: chemical analysis, infra- red analysis, electron microscopy and high energy dispersion for particle size analyses.
