Salinity variations in Weddell Sea pack ice / Stephen F. Ackley, Anthony J. Gow, Victoria I. Lytle.

Title: Salinity variations in Weddell Sea pack ice / Stephen F. Ackley, Anthony J. Gow, Victoria I. Lytle.
Author(s): Ackley, Stephen F.
Gow, Anthony J.
Lytle, Victoria I.
Date: 1993[pub.1994]
In: Antarctic Journal of the United States. (1993[pub.1994]), Vol. 28(5) (1993[pub.1994])
Abstract: Studies have been made of evolution of salinity distribution in sea ice with simultaneous collection of information on thermal and morphological events that affected salinity. More recently, additional sites were measured for ice salinity, temperature, and structure to provide regional context for ice-station measurements. Here, salinity features of some ice-station sites in relation to regional setting are described.
