Record #126544:

Perennial ice cover on Lake Hoare: evidence for climate change? / Bernhard Lee Lindner.

Title: Perennial ice cover on Lake Hoare: evidence for climate change? / Bernhard Lee Lindner.
Author(s): Lindner, Bernhard Lee.
Date: [1993]
Publisher: Boston, MA: American Meteorological Society
In: Fourth International Conference on Southern Hemisphere Meteorology and Oceanography, March 29--April 2, 1993, Hobart, Australia. A Joint Meeting of the American Meteorological Society and the Australian Meteorological and Oceanographic Society. Preprints. ([1993]),
Abstract: Describes present studies, which examine link between various atmospheric parameters and thickness of lake ice, using theoretical model of effects of climate change on Antarctic fresh-water lakes. Lake ice is thought to be sensitive indicator of short-term climate change.
