Record #126375:

An icing study for a future suspended bridge at Montmorency Falls / Pierre McComber, A. Paradis.

Title: An icing study for a future suspended bridge at Montmorency Falls / Pierre McComber, A. Paradis.
Author(s): McComber, Pierre.
Paradis, A.
Date: [1993]
In: Eastern Snow Conference. Proceedings. ([1993]), Vol. 50th Annual Meeting ([1993])
Abstract: Pedestrian bridge proposed, which would be exposed to icing from droplet spray. Following research described, it was recommended that added amount of rime resulting from presence of falls should be considered to be negligible, and so design should be based on usual load limits for wind and ice loading of structures in Quebec.
Notes:

Eastern Snow Conference. Proceedings. Vol. 50th Annual Meeting :415-422 ([1993]).

Joint Meeting with 61st Western Snow Conference.

Keywords: 624.14 -- Snow and ice engineering.
624.142 -- Low temperature effects.
624.21 -- Bridges.
E12 -- Glaciology: frozen ground / snow and ice engineering.
(*41) -- Canada.
(*424) -- Quebec.
