Abstract: During 1970-91, glaciofluvial deposits in inner basin have produced from 2 to 28% of annual water supply to Flagstaff via wells and developed springs. Regression analysis indicates that water production shows good correlation with maximum snow water equivalent (SWE), especially production from springs. However, scheduled snow surveys may miss maximum SWE measurement. Installation of Snotel telemetry site would produce daily record and data would contribute to development of better forecasts of water supply.
